Model Construction and Demolition (C&D) Ordinance
At their November 20, 2000 meeting, the Marin County Hazardous and Solid Waste Joint Powers Authority (JPA) Board Members approved a Model Construction and Demolition (C&D) Ordinance for agency local adoption. The Model C&D Ordinance is designed to allow each administrating agency the flexibility to determine its own appropriate level of enforcement and degree of implementation. Each agency has the flexibility to implement this ordinance either as a simple education tool, or more rigidly as a C&D diversion mandate. Check with your local Member Agency to see if this C&D Ordinance will affect you.
